I wish it had been a touch smaller July 10, 2010 Keely Croxton 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was a bit frustrated with this mattress pad. I bought the flat one because our Naturepedic mattress is a really tight fit in our crib, so I thought a flat pad would be easier to take off and put on the mattress. After purposely shrinking the pad, it was just a touch too big. I thought having a mattress pad that was just a touch wider and longer than the mattress, which was such a tight fit, was going to make changing the sheets cumbersome. I ended up returning it (another story but I was disappointed with Naturepedic's customer service) and getting the portable crib pad which is of course much smaller than the mattress, but I'm hoping it covers it sufficiently, at least until the baby is squirming around a lot as she sleeps. I'm not sure why Naturepedic doesn't make their mattress pad just a half-inch shorter and narrower than their mattress.
So worth the price! May 28, 2009 Enjoying Life (Nashville, Tn) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My son has really sensitive skin and was intrigued when I came across this product. It seemed too good to be true, but I purchased it anyway. It is fabulous. The whole pad is soft and comfy, so much that my son threw a fit when I was placing it under his sheet. It does not have that plastic crinkly sound to it. I have already washed it a few times and just keeps getting softer. It did not let any of our sons accident seep through to the mattress. It is a great size, I use it on our son's toddler bed. Great Product.
Awesome Organic Crib Mattress Protector April 15, 2009 S. Helwick (Gulfport, MS) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I had previously purchased one of these from another company for my upcoming son in a few days, and I have a daughter who I have been using another organic brand one for but was not really liking it. So, I decided to try the one I bought for him in her bed (since he was not born yet)and loved it so much that I had to rebuy him one. Awesome price especially for being organic. Believe me, I have been price shopping these since I was pregnant with my daughter. It has not shrunk on me at all (problem with last brand) and works great when my daughter has leaks!!! Definite buy!!!
Definitely worth the money March 3, 2009 SLC (Salt Lake City, UT) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic pad. It's quite thin, and I had my doubts that it would keep the mattress dry (my baby is a real spitter)--but it does, amazingly well (I am constantly amazed how much it can absorb and still leave the mattress completely dry, not even a spot). And it washes very well. Plus it's organic!--genuinely organic, not like some of the products marketed as organic but not 100% so. It has been well worth the money.
Affordable Organic crib pad February 16, 2009 KP 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was looking for a cotton waterproof crib pad to avoid that horrible plastic stuff that always melts in my dryer. This one seems great. It is easy to put beneath the crib sheets, doesn't smell bad and is soft. My little one isn't at the age of accidents yet so I can't vouch for how well the waterproofing works but my test with a little water spilt on top makes it seem like it will hold up.
